Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will launch next week, much earlier than usual and ahead of expectations for early 2026. The phone debuts an “upgraded” Leica partnership focused on strategic co-creation, featuring a Leica-certified APO telephoto lens and a next-generation one-inch main camera sensor. Xiaomi promises improved low-light performance, better detail in high-contrast scenes and more creative telephoto shooting, though the launch is expected to be China-only for now, with a global release likely later.
