The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is now rumored to launch without built-in magnets, despite earlier leaks suggesting Qi2 magnetic support. According to leaker Ice Universe, users will need a magnetic case for magnet-based accessories, possibly due to ongoing S Pen interference issues. This would be a setback compared to rivals like Google and HMD. On the upside, the Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to get faster wireless charging, with rumors of 45W wired charging for the base model and up to 60W for the Ultra, plus camera upgrades and new Privacy Display technology.
