Apple´s new iOs releases support easier migration to Android

Apple has released iOS and iPadOS 26.3, bringing dozens of security fixes, including one for a vulnerability that was actively exploited, making the update highly recommended.

The update also adds a built-in tool for switching from iOS to Android without extra apps, allowing users to transfer photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, contacts and more. While prompted by EU regulations, Apple has made the feature available worldwide.

Additionally, iOS 26.3 introduces a setting to limit carrier location tracking on devices using Apple’s C1 or C1X modems, though support is currently limited to select carriers such as Boost Mobile, EE, BT and Telekom.
