A new SellCell survey shows smartphone users are becoming more loyal overall. Apple still leads with 96.4% iPhone loyalty, but Android loyalty has risen to 86.4%, narrowing the gap.
While Android users are more likely to switch brands, they often stay within the Android ecosystem – moving between companies like Samsung and Google – unlike iPhone users, who leave Apple entirely if they switch.
Price and value remain the biggest reasons for changing phones. Notably, Samsung and Google have significantly improved customer loyalty in recent years, showing stronger competition with Apple than before.
