WhatsApp is testing a new notification bubbles feature on Android, similar to chat heads seen in Facebook Messenger.
The feature would show floating chat bubbles for incoming messages, allowing users to read and reply in a compact window without leaving their current app – making multitasking easier.
It’s still in testing, with a beta release expected before a wider rollout to all users.
