At WWDC 2026, Apple unveiled Siri mode in Camera, a new feature that allows Siri to analyze what users see through their camera and provide answers or take actions. Users can identify objects, ask follow-up questions, get nutritional information about food and even split bills with friends using Apple Cash.
Powered by Siri’s new image-understanding and multimodal AI capabilities, the feature is coming not only to iPhone but also to iPad, Mac and Vision Pro. On these devices, Siri will be able to analyze on-screen content and physical objects in the surrounding environment.
The new functionality closely resembles Google Lens, bringing advanced visual search and AI assistance deeper into Apple’s ecosystem. Siri AI is available for developer testing now, with a broader beta rollout planned for later this year.
