A new report suggests Apple could launch its first camera-equipped AirPods as early as September 2026, earlier than previously expected.
The rumored B790 model has already appeared in iOS 27 code and is reportedly further along in development, while a more advanced B798 version is now expected in 2027. The AirPods are expected to focus on Visual Intelligence, featuring built-in cameras, slightly longer stems and an LED indicator that signals when data is being sent to the cloud.
