Apple is developing iPhone-to-Windows clipboard syncing to comply with EU interoperability rules, allowing users to seamlessly copy and paste between an iPhone and a Windows PC.
The feature comes after a request from Microsoft and will work similarly to Apple’s Universal Clipboard for Apple devices. Apple says the project is a major engineering effort and is expected to be completed by fall 2027, with availability likely limited to the European Union.
