Samsung may equip the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro with the newer LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.1 storage standards, according to a new Korean rumor. However, these upgrades could be limited to higher-end configurations, while the base versions may continue using older memory and storage technology.
The Galaxy S27 and S27+ are reportedly expected to stick with LPDDR5X and current storage standards. The rumored configurations include 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB for the S27 and S27+, while the S27 Ultra could also offer 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. The S27 Pro may reportedly get a 12GB/1TB option.
Samsung has not confirmed any of these details, so the information should be treated cautiously. Recent certification data also suggests the S27 Pro could feature a 5,200mAh battery, while the S27 Ultra may get a 5,700mAh battery, with both supporting 60W wired charging.
