Apple is developing an AI health advisor

Apple is working on a paid AI-powered health coach that can help improve a user’s exercise, sleep and eating habits. The service, codenamed “Quartz,” uses artificial intelligence and data from Apple’s smartwatch to make recommendations and create customized coaching programs. The new service is likely to be released next year.

The Quartz is just one of a handful of new Apple health services. For example, the iPad will finally get a dedicated health app as part of iPadOS 17. Apparently, Apple is also working on an emotions tracker and new features to help people with nearsightedness.

Apple’s upcoming VR/AR headset is rumored to support Fitness Plus and have a meditation app. Apple is also said to be making progress in blood sugar monitoring.
