Users discovered that its depth sensor can see through certain objects, such as TV remote covers, revealing internal components like batteries. This is because the depth sensor lacks an infrared light filter. However, due to privacy concerns, co-founder Akis Evangelidis announced on X (formerly Twitter) that a software update will restrict third-party apps from accessing the depth sensor within a week.
