Recently, Samsung has been rolling out updates to older devices like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, prompting users to switch to Google Messages. Some users have reported losing starred messages and entire conversations after the switch. However, Samsung Messages isn’t being removed from these devices, and it’s unclear how widespread these updates are or if more aggressive actions are planned.
