At Apple’s event today, the company unveiled the AirPods (4th generation), available in two versions: a standard model and one with active noise cancellation (ANC). Both share a new design and feature Apple’s H2 chip for improved sound quality, better bass, and personalized spatial audio. The ANC version also offers transparency mode, conversation awareness, and adaptive audio. The charging case now has a USB-C port, shrinks in size, and extends battery life to 30 hours. The standard AirPods are priced at $129, while the ANC model costs $179. Pre-orders start today, with availability on September 20.
