Google is bringing its AI-powered “Personal Intelligence” concept into the workplace with a new feature called Workspace Intelligence. It connects data from tools like Docs, Gmail and third-party apps to build a smart knowledge graph of your organization, helping Gemini understand priorities and tasks automatically.
A new command line in Google Chat lets you interact directly with Gemini – get daily briefings, schedule meetings and manage tasks without switching apps. In Sheets, you can create complex spreadsheets using simple language, while Docs and Slides can instantly generate polished content like presentations based on your company’s style.
Google emphasizes strong security, including client-side encryption and strict data privacy – your company’s data won’t train public AI models. The rollout is starting in the US and EU, with more regions coming soon, aiming to make everyday work faster and less repetitive.
