Honor is emerging as a major player in humanoid robotics, with one of its robots winning a recent half marathon against both humans and machines.
The robot completed the 21km race in just 50 minutes and 26 seconds – beating the human winner and even surpassing the world record set by Jacob Kiplimo. Multiple Honor robots took gold, silver and bronze, many navigating the course autonomously.
The achievement highlights rapid progress in humanoid robotics, as companies – especially in China – push forward with real-world applications like factory work, home assistance and more.
