Nothing is working on smart glasses

Nothing is planning a major expansion beyond smartphones, with CEO Carl Pei outlining a multi-device strategy that could include smart glasses, robots and even EVs.

The company is reportedly targeting the smart glasses market in early 2027, with a device featuring cameras, microphones and speakers, while relying on smartphones and the cloud for AI processing – putting it in direct competition with Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses.

Staying true to its brand, Nothing is expected to bring its signature bold, design-focused approach to the glasses. In the nearer term, it’s also working on new AI-powered earbuds set to launch later this year.
