OnePlus and Realme are officially merged

Rumors about OnePlus shutting down have been denied, but the company is undergoing internal changes alongside sister brand realme.

According to reports, the two brands have merged their global and domestic operations into a new “sub product center,” led by OnePlus China president Li Jie, who reports to founder Pete Lau. Former realme executive Wang Wei will serve as deputy.

Their marketing and service teams are also being combined into a separate unit headed by realme founder Li Bingzhong, with Xu Qi overseeing related functions.

There is no official confirmation yet, so the merger remains unverified for now.
