Samsung is reportedly developing three Android XR smart glasses, expanding its post-phone lineup alongside Galaxy XR. The first model, codenamed “Jinju,” has leaked renders showing a design similar to Meta Ray-Ban glasses, without a display.
The glasses are expected to run on Android XR with Gemini integration and feature a Snapdragon AR1 chip, 12MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and a lightweight ~50g build with directional speakers and transition lenses.
Another model with a microLED display (codename “Haean”) is planned for 2027. Samsung may unveil the new glasses at its July Unpacked event, with prices rumored around $379–$499 for the standard version and up to $900 for the display variant, though pricing details remain uncertain.
