WhatsApp has rolled out a major upgrade to its Apple CarPlay integration, making it far more functional and native for iPhone users.
Previously limited to voice commands, WhatsApp on CarPlay now includes a proper interface with contact profiles, recent call history (incoming, outgoing, missed) and a dedicated favorites tab for quick access.
This update aligns with broader CarPlay improvements, as apps like ChatGPT and Google Meet have also introduced more advanced in-car features, such as voice interactions and meeting management.
