Oura has unveiled the new Oura Ring 5, featuring a much slimmer design that’s 40% smaller than the previous generation while promising improved tracking accuracy through upgraded sensors and LEDs.
The company is also expanding its health-focused features with Health Radar, which now tracks long-term biometric trends such as Blood Pressure Signals and nighttime breathing patterns. Oura is partnering with ResMed and Counsel Health to offer sleep guidance, AI-assisted health support and access to healthcare professionals directly in the app.
New tools also allow users to import medical records, track GLP-1 medication progress, and manage privacy with more detailed data controls. On the fitness side, Oura finally adds live workout tracking with real-time pace, heart rate and distance data.
The Oura Ring 5 starts at $399, while premium finishes cost $499. Pre-orders are available now, with shipping beginning June 4.
