Leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed early details about vivo’s next foldable, likely the vivo X Fold 6. The device may switch from Qualcomm to a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, replacing the Snapdragon used in its predecessor.
A major highlight could be a massive 7,000mAh battery – far larger than rivals like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – potentially making it the biggest battery in a book-style foldable. The phone is also expected to retain silicon-carbon battery tech and wireless charging.
Camera specs are less certain, with leaks suggesting a possible 200MP main sensor (despite a likely typo listing 20MP), alongside 50MP ultrawide and telephoto lenses, plus dual selfie cameras. Display sizes may see only negligible changes, while water resistance is expected to continue.
The vivo X Fold 6 could launch around July, possibly ahead of the next Galaxy foldable.
