Google has announced that its first physical retail store outside the United States will open this summer in Tokyo, Japan. Located in Omotesando’s Tokyu Plaza Omokado, the store will sell Pixel smartphones, Nest products, Fitbit devices and accessories.
The location will also offer product support, Pixel repairs, device setup assistance and serve as a pickup point for online orders. Google says the store will showcase its latest AI experiences and marks an important milestone in Japan, where the company established its first overseas office. The move could signal plans for additional Google retail stores in other countries.
