Google is expanding its use of generative AI to fashion-related features, including tools that help users plan outfits. Google Photos will soon introduce a “digital wardrobe” that can identify clothing items from users’ past photos, organize them into a wardrobe collection, and allow users to mix and match outfits virtually. The feature will begin rolling out next week in the US, India and Brazil for devices running Android 10 and above.
At the same time, Google is expanding its “Find this look” feature in Circle to Search, which lets users circle an outfit to identify clothing items and find similar products. Previously limited to select Samsung and Pixel devices, it will now be available on more Android 14+ devices starting today.
