A new Opensignal report names T-Mobile the top-performing U.S. carrier, winning 12 of 16 categories against Verizon and AT&T. T-Mobile led in reliability, consistent quality, 5G availability and both 5G download and upload speeds, maintaining its strong network performance for a second consecutive year.
While AT&T remained the leader in overall network availability and Verizon topped the rankings for 5G video and live video experiences, T-Mobile outperformed its rivals in most categories that matter to consumers. The results provide a positive boost for the carrier amid recent criticism surrounding its T-Life app transition and increased global calling rates.
