A new report claims Nothing is planning a major restructuring amid slowing smartphone sales. The company is reportedly exiting 12 markets, including Japan, the Middle East, and parts of Europe, while reducing its global workforce by 40% and cutting R&D staff.
The report also says the Nothing Phone 4b has shipped only around 20,000 units so far, while the Phone 4a series has reached about 150,000 units. Rising memory and storage costs have also reportedly forced Nothing to cancel the successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, leaving the CMF lineup without a new flagship device.
