Spotify has launched a new AI-powered chatbot that lets users interact with the streaming service through natural conversations. Available in the Home and Now Playing sections on mobile, users can either speak or type requests to discover music, create and refine playlists, learn more about songs, artists, podcasts and audiobooks, and manage playback with simple commands.
The AI can also answer questions about listening habits, provide background on music and content, and recommend new artists. The feature is rolling out in beta to Spotify Premium subscribers aged 18+ in the US, Ireland and Sweden on both iOS and Android.
