Apple adds iPhone X to its obsolete products list

Apple has officially added the iPhone X to its obsolete products list, nearly nine years after the phone launched in 2017. The 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro has also been added.

Products on the obsolete list are no longer eligible for official hardware repairs, as Apple service centers cannot order replacement parts. Mac devices may still qualify for battery service for up to 10 years after their last sale, depending on parts availability.

The iPhone X received its final software update with iOS 16.7.16, while the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro ended software support with macOS 15.7.7.
