Apple’s all-glass 20th anniversary iPhone may-be still in works

Apple’s rumored all-glass iPhone for the device’s 20th anniversary in 2027 has reportedly not been cancelled. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple is still planning a major redesign for the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max.

The phones are expected to feature curved glass on both the front and back, connected by a slim metal frame. Apple reportedly explored an even more glass-heavy design but abandoned it because of manufacturing challenges.

The 2027 Pro models could also feature larger displays, improved cooling, and an ultra-thin design similar to the iPhone Air.
