Google now lets you remove Gemini’s visible watermark

Google is giving users the option to remove the visible watermarks from images generated by its Nano Banana AI model. A new setting is rolling out in Gemini and Flow, with Google Search’s AI Mode to follow soon.

The option will also apply to videos created with Gemini Omni and songs generated with Lyria, except in countries where watermarks are legally required.

However, Google will continue using invisible SynthID watermarks and C2PA metadata, allowing AI-generated content to still be identified even when the visible watermark is removed.
