Anthropic is reportedly developing a new Money feature for Claude that could allow users to link their bank accounts directly to the AI assistant. An unreleased section spotted in the Claude iOS app suggests users may be able to ask about spending, account balances, recurring payments, budgeting and financial plans.
The feature could analyze transactions and identify spending trends without requiring users to manually upload bank statements. However, Anthropic has not officially announced Claude Money and details about supported accounts, financial-data providers, privacy protections and launch timing remain unknown. A US-first rollout is considered likely, similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Finances feature.
