Apple could face another iPhone price increase in 2027 as memory component costs continue to rise. Reports say Apple has agreed to pay Samsung nearly $2.00 per gigabit for LPDDR5X RAM and $0.33 per gigabit for NAND storage from Q1 2027, up from $1.50 and $0.26 respectively in Q3 2026.
The higher component costs could put additional pressure on iPhone pricing after Apple already raised prices by $100 for the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, as well as some older models. Oppo and vivo reportedly rejected Samsung’s proposed higher prices and may use alternative suppliers.
