Apple will allow customers to prepare their iPhone Duo pre-order starting Monday, October 12, several days before official pre-orders begin.
Through the Apple Store app or online store, customers can select their preferred color, storage, carrier, payment method and other details in advance. Pre-orders officially open on Friday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT.
Apple says completing the setup beforehand can make checkout faster and help customers secure launch-day delivery.
