Google has officially added Android 18 to the agenda for its Android Dev Summit 2026, offering an early glimpse of what’s coming with the next major Android release.
The October 28–29 event will include a session teasing “powerful new graphics features” for Android 18, although Google has not revealed any specific details yet. An Android leadership keynote will also cover the latest Android features and updates, potentially providing more information about the upcoming OS.
The summit will also focus on AI, Android XR, app development, tools and performance. The event takes place at Google’s Bay View campus in California, with the keynote available to watch online.
