INMO is recalling around 1,600 Air 3 smart glasses in the US and 120 in Canada after reports that the left temple can overheat during extended use. The company has received 10 reports of overheating, including users experiencing a burning sensation on their face and around the left ear.
The CPSC advises owners to stop using the glasses immediately and contact INMO for a free online software update to version V3.16, which is intended to fix the issue. The affected black Air 3 glasses were sold through Amazon, INMO’s website and Kickstarter between December 2025 and August 2026 for $900–$1,300.
