Motorola returns to Wear OS with the new Moto Watch Ultra

Motorola has launched the Moto Watch Ultra at IFA 2026, marking the company’s return to full-featured Wear OS smartwatches. The watch runs Wear OS 6 and features LTE eSIM support, Google Play apps, Google Wallet and Gemini, along with Motorola’s Qira AI assistant.

The 46mm smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a 1.5-inch pOLED display with up to 2,700 nits of brightness, 5ATM water resistance and a 550mAh battery rated for up to two days of use.

Health tracking is enhanced through Polar’s algorithms, offering features such as recovery and sleep tracking, breathing exercises and a wrist-based Running Coach.

The Moto Watch Ultra goes on sale September 10 for $349.99. Verizon availability starts September 24, with other carriers following in the coming months.
