Xiaomi has revealed more details about the camera systems of the upcoming 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max ahead of their September 23 launch in China.
Both phones will feature a Leica 200MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The telephoto lens offers 3.2x optical zoom, a 75mm focal length, an f/2.4 aperture and macro focusing from as close as 12cm.
Xiaomi claims the telephoto camera captures 280% more light than the 18 Pro’s predecessor and 83% more on the 18 Pro Max. The company has also shared the first camera samples from the new phones, which will additionally feature upgraded rear displays, hardware-level privacy screens and larger batteries.
