Apple and LG are reportedly working together on a new range of smart home accessories, including a video doorbell, indoor and outdoor cameras, and a floodlight camera.
Leaked images and details suggest the wired video doorbell could feature two cameras, dual-band Wi-Fi and Thread support. The outdoor camera reportedly includes infrared LEDs, a microphone, speaker and weather-resistant sealing, while the floodlight model adds separate lights and NFC support.
The new accessories are expected to be part of Apple’s broader smart home push, alongside a smart lock, thermostat and temperature sensor.
