Google may add voice-activated Emergency SOS to Android

Google is reportedly developing a hands-free Emergency SOS feature for Android devices. References found in the Personal Safety app suggest users could trigger an emergency response by saying “Help” three times.

The feature could send an SOS, share the user’s location, start emergency video recording and call emergency services. It may also require voice confirmation before activating.

The feature is still under development and has not yet been released.
