Google is updating the icons for its Contacts, Messages and Phone apps with sharper edges, refreshed colors and subtle gradients to create a more consistent look across its apps. The redesigned icons are rolling out through the Play Store over the coming weeks and are already available in the latest Google Messages beta. No changes to app functionality are included.
