SpaceX plans to begin rolling out its Starlink Mobile cellular network across the US in 2027, adding a new competitor to AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. The network will use Qualcomm’s DragonWing platforms to support 5G connectivity with massive MIMO technology. The rollout will involve tens of thousands of sites over several years, although the launch date for consumer services remains unclear.
