Apple has introduced Apple Pay in Egypt, partnering with the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and the Commercial International Bank (CIB). More banks are expected to support the service soon.
Apple Pay allows users to make contactless payments with iPhone and Apple Watch and works with apps, websites, and Apple devices like Mac and iPad. The service is now available in over 80 countries, following recent expansions to Uruguay and Paraguay.
