Apple Watch hypertension alerts cleared by FDA

Apple’s FDA-cleared hypertension notifications arrive with watchOS 26 on September 15. The feature uses the optical heart sensor to analyze vascular response over ~30 days and alerts users to signs of high blood pressure. Supported on Apple Watch Series 9 and later and Ultra 2 and later, rolling out in 150+ countries.
