Despite the decline in share, usage is still growing rapidly, with ChatGPT reaching about 1.1 billion monthly active users. Gemini and Claude have also expanded significantly, and users are increasingly switching between different AI tools.
AI chatbot spending has surged to $4.2 billion in the first half of the year, and monetization efforts are increasing across platforms, including ads and paid subscriptions.
