Google’s latest Pixel update introduces AI-powered notification summaries, initially for chat apps on Pixel 9 and newer (excluding 9A). The feature condenses long conversations and will later expand to automatically sort and silence low-priority alerts. Google is also broadening scam detection to third-party chat apps like Telegram and Discord, and to calls in select regions. Additionally, users can now remix photos with AI in Google Messages, while VIP chats on Pixel 6 and newer get notification priority.
