Google has launched Gemini 3.1 Pro, just three months after releasing Gemini 3 Pro. The new model focuses on stronger reasoning and improved performance in complex problem-solving tasks, outperforming rivals in several AI benchmarks, including the ARC-AGI-2 test for novel logic challenges.
Google says Gemini 3.1 Pro is built for situations where simple answers aren’t enough, offering advanced reasoning for tasks like explaining complex topics, combining data into clear insights or supporting creative projects.
The model is rolling out now in the Gemini app for all users, while Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers will get higher usage limits and access through NotebookLM.
