Reports from Apple’s supply chain suggest that the long-rumored iPhone Fold may not launch this fall as expected, but could instead be delayed until early next year.
A supplier executive indicated that some new Apple products originally planned for late this year have been pushed back, which analysts believe includes the foldable iPhone. While Apple was previously expected to unveil it alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models in September, it may only be teased at that event and released later, similar to how the iPhone X was introduced ahead of its launch.
Despite the delay, analysts still expect strong demand, with forecasts suggesting the device could sell around 11 million units in its first year.
