The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to arrive in the coming weeks with what could be Apple’s biggest camera hardware upgrade in years.
Rumors point to three major improvements: a variable-aperture main camera, a wider-aperture telephoto lens for better low-light photography and new professional-level camera software features. The variable aperture could offer greater control over focus and depth of field while improving Portrait mode and low-light performance.
Apple is also reportedly upgrading the Camera app with more advanced controls aimed at professional users, while the Camera Control button could receive a redesign.
