Company The90 has launched a new wearable pendant called The Gem, designed to track skin health and sun exposure rather than typical fitness metrics.
The titanium pendant measures UVA and UVB radiation in real time and connects to a companion app that provides personalized insights based on skin type, habits and sunscreen use. It can track sun exposure, estimate safe time outdoors and display burn risk data through detailed graphs.
The device offers up to a week of battery life, is splash-proof and comes in gold and silver. It is priced at $199 for a limited introductory period before rising to $299.
