iPhone 18 series could be $100 more expensive

Apple could reportedly raise the prices of its entire iPhone 18 lineup by around $100 due to soaring memory chip costs.

The company has already increased prices for some Mac and iPad models, and rising RAM and NAND prices are now putting further pressure on Apple’s margins. Sources say Apple had initially tried to absorb the higher costs but may now pass some of them on to customers.

As a result, the iPhone 18 Pro could start at around $1,199. Despite the increase, Apple’s prices would remain competitive with Samsung, Google and other smartphone makers that have also raised prices.

The price hike has not yet been officially confirmed by Apple.
