Fitbit co-founders James Park and Eric Friedman have launched Luffu Link, a $249.99 screenless wearable designed to help families monitor the health and safety of loved ones.
The LTE-connected band tracks activity, sleep and heart rate, while also allowing users to record voice notes about symptoms, medication, meals and mood. Built-in GPS and LTE enable location sharing and communication with trusted contacts even when a phone isn’t nearby.
Luffu Link can last up to five days on a charge and includes LTE service without a separate carrier plan. It is expected to ship in the US in early 2027 for $299.99.
Luffu is also developing an app that uses AI to organize family health data and identify important changes, as well as a future home device for coordinating care across households.
